Dr. Scott Grabill, DO is selected as the Chief of Surgery at Chesapeake Regional Hospital

Chesapeake, Virginia—Dr. Scott Grabill, one of SMOC- Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center’s Total Joint Specialists, was selected as Chesapeake Regional Hospital’s Chief of Surgery.

During his tenure at Chesapeake Regional, Dr. Grabill displayed his ability to lead by example and provide consistent positive outcomes for both SMOC and Chesapeake Regional Hospital. His expertise in surgical and medical aspects of the hospital, as well as the business side, have proven him to be a great addition.

When asked about his newly appointed position, Dr. Grabill stated, “I am honored to serve in this role and look forward to leading such a group of talented and dedicated surgeons. Dr. Grabill joined SMOC in 2015, after serving 13 years of active duty in the US Navy and as Chairman of Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction Surgery at the prestigious Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He will continue working as one of SMOC’s skillful joint replacement and reconstruction specialists as he accepts this prestigious position with Chesapeake Regional Hospital.
