Physical Therapy

The goal of every doctor at SMOC is to reduce pain and return patients to their highest level of functioning as soon and as simply as possible. Often this can be done using treatments and programs that allow patients to avoid surgery
all together.

At SMOC our team of board certified physicians, x-ray technicians, nursing assistants, and therapists work together to offer you individualized programs that will identify your issue and help set goals to meet your needs. It’s a team approach that includes you, your therapist, your physician and your family. Under the direction of an SMOC doctor specializing in physiatry (physical medicine and rehabilitation), together we will design a program to fit your needs. Strength training, exercise, and the use of highly specialized computerized equipment and techniques are all available to help you regain function after injury and/or surgery.

Our goal is to restore your range of motion and get you back to your previous level of activity as effectively and efficiently as possible.
